Shipping

All items are shipped via U.S. Postal Service and take approximately 5-9 business days. Made to order are 1-2 weeks for production. Once items are shipped, tracking numbers will be sent to the email address provided with the purchase.

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days before shipping.

PIECE OF KAKE is not responsible for any lost items. If your tracking information states that your package was delivered and you have not received it.  You must take this up with the United States Postal Service. PIECE OF KAKE does not hold responsibility for any packages that show as delivered.  

If items have not been received, they can be located by using the tracking number or contacting your local post office.

If an order is placed on a national holiday or after 2 p.m. EST on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, it will be shipped the following business day.

Returns / Exchanges

No returns or exchanges on hand-painted and made to order items. All sales FINAL! 

Returns: All items must be returned to PIECE OF KAKE within 5 days of receipt. Items must be unworn and unwashed with original tags attached. If an item is not returned in the same condition in which it was sent, it will be denied.

Returns for a refund to your original payment method (i.e. credit card, Paypal) will require a handling & processing fee of $5.99, which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Party and Event Planning / Booking

All deposits must be paid before planning and purchasing has begun. The full balance must be paid 21 days before the day of the party/event. Deposits are non-refundable if the party is cancelled within 10 days of the event date. The first initial consultation is free of charge and can last up to 60 minutes. ​Event planning packages include unlimited consultations in person, phone and/or email as well as day-of event coordination. None of the event/party packages include food for your guests - POK is only responsible for the cupcakes and candy/food bar aspects of your party only IF it is included in the package you choose, as we will not be responsible for providing food for your guests. Also, the package prices DO NOT include supplies, decorations, balloons, etc. unless specifically noted. The prices you see include coordination and planning only, unless noted in the package description. ALL PRICES SHOWN ARE STARTING PRICES, AFTER CONSULTATION, A FINAL PRICE WILL BE SET FOR YOUR PARTY/EVENT. Invoice should be paid within 5 days of receiving or it will be considered VOID.

Sweet Travel Itineraries

Payment must be made before planning is started. 15 minute phone consultation included in price. Pricing is based on one single trip - if you need multi-trip itineraries, please email us for special pricing!

Sweet Furniture & Home Decor'

We know every project presents its own unique set of circumstances. So we pride ourselves on working side by side with you to accomplish your design vision. We'll discuss the specifics of your project, help determine the budget and make some preliminary design suggestions. No project is too big or too small. Depending on the size of the project, we may be able to get started with just one meeting. Our initial design consultation is always complimentary. Deposits and costs will be determined after initial consultation.

Kandy Kupcakes, Kookie Pops, Dessert Kups & Kandy Lemonade

Deposit of 50% of cupcake total should be paid when ordering your Kandy Kupcakes and Kookie Pops. Delivery locations must be within a 10 mile radius of Laurel, MD or a travel fee will be added to your order. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled 10 days before delivery or pick-up of your order. NO EXCEPTIONS! Payment of Kandy Lemonade should be paid upon pick up or delivery (cash only). Large orders should be placed at least 2 hours before pick up or delivery and paid in advance to ensure freshness.
